This is an Unofficial and Unauthorized Sourcebook.

They are designed to be used with my Platinum RPG and Strife: The Scalable Wargame, but…

I also made them to be used with other RPGs.

To use with BRP, everything in the NPC writeup is the same, just some name changes for some stats.

To use with D20, the skills are divided by 5 to get the skill and stat bonus combined (always round down). The attributes are close enough to use without any modification. This means that a 37% Survival translates to a +5 Survival check.

Each NPC is given a descriptor such as Elite or Novice which serves to indicate a rough estimate of the level for the NPC. This descriptor is used for modifying the HP of an NPC. As this is a base assumption of D&D/D20 I included it, but if you want to use the Vitality Points and Wound Points optional rule, then the Hit Points become Wound Points and the HP value below becomes Vitality Points.

  • Novice                                  Level 1 or 2         HP x 1
  • Rookie                                  Level 3 or 4         HP x 2
  • Green                                    Level 5 or 6         HP x 3
  • Trained                                 Level 7 or 8         HP x 4
  • Average                               Level 9 or 10      HP x 5
  • Above Average              Level 11 or 12    HP x 6
  • Experienced                    Level 13 or 14    HP x 7
  • Elite                                      Level 15 or 16    HP x 8
  • Expert                                 Level 17 or 18    HP x 9
  • Awesome                          Level 19 or 20    HP x 10
  • World Class                      “Epic Level”         HP x 11 or more

To get an Armor Class just take the Stopping Power (SP) of the armor AND add 1/10th the Dodge skill if they have it and use that as the AC bonus.

Everything else can be derived from the base stats given and adjusted to what you feel is appropriate.

For use with the Megaverse use the following chart to convert to SDC and Hit Points combined, then adjust up or down. For a front line combatant add 10 to 20 SDC, and for an absolute non-combatant reduce by 10 SDC or keep the HP multiplier x 3.

  • Novice                                 Level 1                  HP x 3
  • Rookie                                 Level 2                  HP x 3.25
  • Green                                   Level 3                  HP x 3.5
  • Trained                               Level 4-5              HP x 3.75
  • Average                              Level 6-7              HP x 4
  • Above Average              Level 8-9              HP x 4.2
  • Experienced                    Level 10-11        HP x 4.4
  • Elite                                      Level 12-13        HP x 4.6
  • Expert                                  Level 14               HP x 4.8
  • Awesome                           Level 15               HP x 5

Skills are the same, and combat bonuses are (Skill – 20%)/5 to convert to the Megaverse, and to convert from the Megaverse it is bonus x 5% + 20%.
