Globally Integrated Joint Operations and Effects
A downloadable game
The documents presented here are the result of a multi‑year investigation into a six‑decade covert enterprise operating inside the Department of Defense (later the Department of War) and across multiple U.S. government agencies. Originally conceived as a Presidential covert‑action capability independent of the CIA—an outgrowth of the hostility between President Kennedy and the Agency following the Bay of Pigs—the unit evolved far beyond its initial mandate.
MACG‑SOG severed all ties with the Intelligence Community in the early 1970s and became a purely military black program. It soon turned into a repository for personnel who were too valuable to discard but too dangerous, unstable, or politically inconvenient to place in overt units. Over time, the organization rebranded itself as the Globally Integrated Joint Operations Element (GIJOE), aligning with DARPA as an Operational Testing and Evaluation (OTE) unit to secure access to experimental technologies and off‑books research.
In the aftermath of the Church and Pike Committees and the Rockefeller Commission, numerous senior figures within MKULTRA and related programs realized they were about to be sacrificed as political liabilities. Rather than face exposure, these leaders and scientists absconded with their research, funding streams, and personnel networks—re‑emerging in the criminal underworld as the organization now known as Cobra.
GIJOE, already compartmentalized and insulated by its OCA authority, black‑budget funding, and covert‑operations remit, was one of the few entities not fully penetrated by Cobra. As Cobra expanded into a global paramilitary and criminal syndicate, GIJOE became the only effective counterforce. Their conflict, largely invisible to the public, has shaped world events since the early 1980s.
Despite repeated attempts by the Department of Defense to terminate or absorb the unit, GIJOE has demonstrated extraordinary institutional resilience and remains the United States Government’s only consistently effective weapon against Cobra.
Note: Of course this rogue unit would have nuclear powered bases, ships and most likely tactical nuclear weapons on stealth platforms. Is there any wonder why this unit keeps getting shut down?

I really like this since I’m a G.i Joe fan and i wonder if G.i Joe’s enemy fictional organization Cobra is next for a vehicle list because I found out that a lot of their vehicles were missing in the G.i Joe roleplaying game quartermaster’s guide to gear or some vehicles locations are overlooked like Cobra’s underwater base from the G.i Joe RAH comic the G.i Joe wiki mentioned that Cobra base was mobile
I am working on it. The Cobra characters and gear is far more interesting to me. I had to do the GI JOE stuff first to get the baselines as their stuff is more realistic and thus able to extrapolate from. The Cobra characters are coming next, but I’m working on the Vehicles concurrently. Finding the blueprints is the hardest part, but it should be done by the end of June.
I message you when it drops.
Thanks.
You’re welcome you wouldn’t believe how many errors I caught in the G.i Joe roleplaying game a lot there is a fictional Cobra Long Range, Anti-Aircraft Assault Vehicle missing from the G.i Joe roleplaying game but there’s already toy for it Google this toy name "G.i Joe Detonator vehicle" that’s the missing vehicle from the roleplaying game because there a mistake in the G.i Joe Transformers comic and also for strange reasons the Cobra’s undersea base was treated as the M.A.R.S base from Rise Of Cobra movie not as the actual mobile undersea base from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic #8 where it’s set at the east coast of Florida
If you catch any errors in my work, let me know, so I can change it. Is this the base you are talking about: https://gijoe.fandom.com/wiki/Undersea_Base
Yes that’s the base in the official G.i Joe Roleplaying game it was never treated as it’s G.i Joe A Real American Hero comic version instead it was treated as it’s M.A.R.S base version from Rise Of Cobra movie
OK, well, I’ll be sure to include it! Again, if you see any errors in any of my GI JOE vehicles, let me know.
